Last week the Animal Rescue I volunteer with Louie's Legacy had a Gala to spread awareness about shelter pets and the ways we can help save them. A lot of fun and for a great cause!
This is the piece I donated which was auctioned off at the event.
Mermaid and Dragon "Kittens"
A relief sculpture sculpted inside a large shell and painted in acrylics.
Aside from this, I've been dabbling in a bit of this and that the past couple months while looking for a new job...drawing, painting, some experimental mixed media canvas's, paper clay sculptures and my latest polymer sculpt which looks like a cross between a fish or bird creature and an elderly woman! :/
Hope to have pictures to share soon, my camera is not cooperating again, think maybe it has something to do with me taking pictures when my hands are covered in plaster and apoxie? Nahhh couldnt be... ;)

An elderly Fishwoman Bird, very rare, gotta see it! Your post made me laugh. I too have neglected my blog for months at a time. But, it just waits patiently for me to come back. Good to see you posting and thanks for visiting me too.
